Hydrogen fuel cells offer the potential for zero emissions, environmental friendliness, and a wide range of applications. The bipolar plate is an important component of a fuel cell, serving to provide electrical connections, transport reaction gases, dissipate reaction heat, and remove by-products. Bipolar plates typically consist of gas inlet and outlet channels, flow field distribution areas, and flow field reaction zones. The flow field reaction zone of the bipolar plate usually has a parallel groove structure, where the groove and rib widths, as well as the length of the parallel grooves, can be adjusted to control the speed of the reaction gases and thus improve the efficiency of electrochemical reactions.
